We used the College Foundation of North Carolina’s FAFSA Tracker to obtain data on FAFSA completion rates in the public high schools in our four counties. FAFSA completion rates are a key metric that we track as part of our strategic direction to improve postsecondary success and our strategic goal of improving postsecondary enrollment success to 65%.
High school students, families, teachers, counselors and others in our four-county region have worked hard to increase completion rates. Their efforts have been successful, as we have seen a 19% jump in FAFSA submissions from December, 2022, to present. Congratulations to Rosman High for the largest increase of 36%!
